An Inter-vlog About Stress
By: Nathan Vogel ‘21
I don’t know about you, but I’ve been stressed. And I stress a lot, but this semester has hit harder than I’m used to, and I think that’s been the case for a lot of us. So, I reached out to Dr. Dave Lavond and Dr. Ruth C. White (who have been USC profs! #fighton) for some tips. For all of us stressed Trojans.
I hope you find this “inter-vlog” helpful. As mentioned, there are people and resources here to help you. Below are just a few that I’ve come across since starting this video:
USC Resources complied by the OS Minor Teaching Team: https://drive.google.com/file/d/17Ycj5zqj4oZDBbkoVeguuOK8C8X1VdAp/view?usp=sharing
Oh, and one more thing. Every professor I’ve talked to or had recently has made it plain that they are there for you. That if you’re stressed out, they’re there to chat. My encouragement being to reach out if you feel the pressure.
Life’s a journey, right? And it can be a stressful one. But I‘m heartened by the generosity of those I’ve talked to and the resources that are available to us. I hope you found at least a moment of this post helpful. Keep breathing, take care of yourself. And fight on. ✌️
