Celebrating LGBTQ+ History Month

by Kristen Adams ‘25

Every October, USC releases a calendar of events to reflect on the history and achievements of the LGBTQ+ community. The month is meant to be an opportunity for the campus community to  recognize the impact and contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex and asexual communities on both the local and national level. A list of programming can be found through USC’s Student Equity and Inclusion Programs on their calendar.

ONE Magazine at Seventy

Los Angeles LGBT Center

Visit an exhibition commemorating ONE Magazine’s legacy of uplifting LGBTQ+ communities and advancing queer rights anytime between October 1 and November 5. The address to the exhibition and opening reception is the Advocate and Gochis Galleries and Courtyards at 1125 N McCadden Pl., Los Angeles, CA 90038.

Art and Chill

Tuesday, Oct. 3, 4-4:30 PM, STU 415 E

Participate in a mindfulness or art activity at LGBTQ+SC! These events will occur weekly, same location and at the same time.

Queer Spirit
