Pura Vida Part Two: 5 Things You Must Do in Costa Rica
By: Samantha Romero ‘16
This past weekend I decided to take a trip to Costa Rica. My weekend getaway left me craving the delicious freshly made coffee and lush rainforests. Here are some of the things I plan on doing during my following trip.
Breakfast with Baby Sloths
For only $55 you can enjoy breakfast with the company of baby sloths at the Toucan Rescue Ranch.
Playa del Coco
Play de Coco is located in Guancaste, Costa Rica. It is a popular beach to hang out especially in the high tourist season of December and January when summer kicks off for the Ticos.
Monteverde
This view is simply breathtaking, located in the mountains of Costa Rica, I can’t wait to cross the bridge for myself.
Arenal Volcano
How many times do you get a chance to walk around a volcano? Exactly! This is definitely on my bucket list.
La Paz Waterfall Gardens
I can only imagine how surreal it would be to walk in these gardens.
