Then check out the many Roski Talks that are available on and at the Graduate Fine Arts Building (IFT)!

The USC Roski School of Art and Design presents their Roski Talks Fall 2017 graduate lecture series featuring “weekly, in-depth presentations on contemporary art and art criticism by visiting artists, curators, theorists, art historians, writers, organizers, activists, and other cultural producers who engage in critical, open, and rigorous conversations with graduate students and members of the community.”

All the lectures are free (yay for free stuff!). These lectures are open to the public and take place at our Graduate Fine Arts Building from 6-8pm, unless otherwise noted. Here is the address: 3001 S. Flower Street (Entrance at 30th Street), Los Angeles, CA 90007.

Below, you can find a schedule of the upcoming lectures:

After seeing Laura Aguilar speak about “My Story” and their journey as a photographer (and seeing their AMAZING photography) I strongly recommend attending a lecture! You’d be amazed at what art you have yet to be exposed to. If you enjoy them this semester, be sure to stick around for Roski Talks in the Spring of 2018!
