I read many of these types of articles when I committed to USC, but sometimes the best way to learn is by living. For any incoming freshman, don’t be afraid to make your own mistakes and learn through your experiences—there’s no right way to do college.
5 Tips for Double Majoring from a Double Major

Deciding to pursue a second major is a difficult decision on its own, and it can be a very tedious and lengthy process depending on which major you’d like to add to your existing curriculum. Plus —even if you are successful in adding it—the work has only just begun. In my experience, this process took months to achieve. My first major under Dornsife was International Relations and Global Business; later, I applied to the School of Cinematic Arts in August 2020. Prior to, I had months of preparation for the application entailing essay writing, storytelling and creating my own film. If you’re adding a major that is within the same school it’s probably a relatively easier process, but, sooner or later, all double majors have to deal with the same obstacle: finding balance.
Black History Month: Honoring Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie at USC

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie was honored by the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism with the 2019 Everett M. Rogers Award, being recognized for her impeccable talent for storytelling and for working towards changing the discourse on gender, race, and identity. The award was named in honor of the late USC Annenberg professor Everett M. Rogers, and is presented each year by the Norman Lear Center on behalf of the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.
Conquest 2018

This Saturday is the infamous USC vs. UCLA game. A fight to establish which university has the best football team in LA. The most anticipated game is preceded with USC’s greatest pep-rally-esque event: Conquest. As someone who could honestly care less about football and won’t be at Saturday’s game, this event infused me with all the school spirit I’ll need for the upcoming weekend.
