3 Minimalist Tips for this Semester
By: Nathan Vogel ‘21
Minimalism can help us live our best (school and otherwise) lives!
Tip 0: Figure Yourself Out
Don’t let this or any other video make you think a certain lifestyle has to be your lifestyle. Take some time to yourself and think about how, when, and where you do your best work. Then you can evaluate whether these or any other tips will help you out. :)
Tip 1: Use What You Already Have
Save yourself some money and the world from waste by looking around your space for anything you need this semester.
Tip 2: Minimize Your Tech
If you constantly find social media or, I don’t know, printers getting in your way, it might be a good idea to find a way to limit their influence on you. You can delete apps, set time limits on them. Throw away your printer. But technology can be super helpful with intentional usage. The way I see it, if your tech is helping you more than it’s hurting you, you’re doing great.
Tip 3: Take Breaks
Our brains are resources too. So let’s try not to overwork them.
