Finals are right around the corner so why not treat yourself to a relaxing weekend to ease the tension.

1.California Daze

Enjoy a flea market of sorts with free live music from the LA based band Best Coast. And don’t forget to raise your selfie game at the photo booth.

2.South Pasadena Eclectic Music and Art Festival

Walk throughout the charming streets of South Pasadena while taking in 30 different musical acts and art galleries.

3.Street food Cinema Opening Night

LA’s largest outdoor cinema series, tasty food trucks galore and lively music. You can have it all at the Street Food Cinema Opening Night located at Exposition Park on May 2,2015. Tonight they will be featuring the 30th anniversary of the feature film the Breakfast Club.

4. Independent Book Store Day

Visit your local bookstore in celebration of Book Store Day on Saturday May 3. Participating bookstores include: Book Soup in West Hollywood, Diesel Bookstore in Bookstore in Brentwood, The Last Bookstore in DTLA. And many more.

Bookstores will be offering visitors a chance to enter contests, special discounts and crafting workshops.

5. USC Housing Fun Run

Blow off some steam while supporting a great cause. USC housing will be hosting their first annual fun run to benefit underprivileged kids in our local community.
