After working out like crazy and signing up, we ended up in the top 3rd of the PAC-12! Go us! As much as working out was not my favorite thing, I like winning and working as a Trojan family so this week was still really fun. The most important thing about the PAC-12 Fitness Challenge is that we BEAT THE BRUINS!!!

Overall Top 5 stats:

Stanford: 444327

Washington State: 303407

ASU: 238740

USC: 118248

UofA: 106479

While Stanford took this one by a long shot, I’m glad that the student body participated as much as possible! I know I went to the free Lyon Center events every day and worked out on my own by playing tennis and such. I feel like a lot of people don’t know about the really cool classes at the Lyon Center. Pictured below is my bellydancing class. That’s right. Bellydancing.

There are so many awesome classes at the Lyon center so I was happy to participate in such a fun one. And, HOT DAMN, was that an ab workout. Right after bellydancing my day away, I went to a yoga class at Engemann.

It was incredibly relaxing and definitely got my mind off all the things I had to do this past weekend. FUN TIP: These classes happen every week and are always free. Check them out!!

Even though the PAC-12 challenge is over, be sure to stay healthy in daily life. Remember: Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. And happy people just don’t shoot their husbands.
