Concerts in LA for April and May
As the weather gets warmer, one of my favorite outings is going to concerts. While we only have a month left of the school year, I’ve compiled a list of upcoming concerts in LA through the end of the semester. Whether you’re into country or rap (or anything in between) this list is sure to have something for you.
A Look Inside Throwing a Concert for MUIN 425

“You and your group will have to throw a concert as your final exam,” Professor Mike Garcia announced on the first day of MUIN 425. The Live Music Production and Promotion class is either famous or infamous depending on who you ask in the Music Industry program.

Now that it’s spring, touring is back in full force, and there are so many shows coming to the LA area. While there are plenty of huge stars making their way here, I much prefer shows in smaller, more intimate venues. Tips For The Best Concert Experience

With the COVID vaccine more widely distributed and new safety measures in place, live music is making its return to LA and around the globe. As a music industry major, I’m selfishly excited to get back to live shows, but I’m also relieved for the small venues who have fought hard to stay open through the last year and a half. Since we’re all a bit out of practice when it comes to going to concerts, I made a list of six tips to make sure you have the most fun (and safe) experience possible seeing your favorite artists live.
Things To Do This Fall Break!

It might just be October, but I already feel like we’ve been at this for ages. Can we attribute this mid-term fatigue to their namesake exams? Or is it more of a heavier transition from online school to being in-person again? Either ways, old or new, senior or freshman, this semester has been a huge learning curve for all of us, so here are a couple of ways we think you could make this break live up to its name:
