One of my favorite shows, Scorpion, recently had an episode that was filmed at USC.  After watching, I got to thinking….how many other great TV shows have used USC as a backdrop?  The answer?  Keep reading to find out!

According to the USC Campus Filming Office, 84 different TV shows have scenes shot at USC.

How to Get Away with Murder:

Early on in the first episode, we see law student ‘Wesley Gibbins’ bicycle through the campus of what is supposed to be “Middleton University”, in Philadelphia.  Clearly any Trojan can tell it is the student union building in the background, right by Tommy Trojan.

Also Annalise Keating’s law house is not in Philadelphia as well.  The house is located at 1130 W. 27th Street.

Gilmore Girls:

It isn’t the first time someone has used USC to portray Yale (…cough cough…Legally Blonde).

The Paper Chase:

The Paper Chase, a TV series based on the 1970 novel by John Jay Osborn, Jr., uses the USC backdrop of VCK as Harvard Law School.

The Herd with Colin Cowherd:

The pillars of the philosophy library beats any studio backdrop!

ER:

The VCK building is used as a medical school graduation in hit TV series ER.

The Three Stooges:

USC may look a little different now, but the JEP house still looks the same.

Don’t let the name on the electric scoreboard fool you.  It’s Galen Center!
