Adventure is all around us, you just have to watch….TV? Yes, my most recent adventure destination came from a television episode of the new series “Lucifer” on Fox which is filmed in Southern California. During the episode, the main character Lucifer interrupts this couple that was about to get married in beautiful glass covered chapel overlooking the ocean, pictured above. Curious, I Googled, “glass church by the ocean in Southern California.” Wayfarers Chapel, Rancho Palos Verdes.

What does Los Angles California and Venice Italy have in common? They both have canals. You can save your money and a very long plane flight by just visiting the canals right here in sunny Los Angeles, Ca.

My last spring break at USC has come and gone. I posted a picture encapsulating my trip with the caption, “good friends is what brings you pleasure in paradise.” I’m so fortunate to have taken a trip to Hawaii with my USC Beach Volleyball teammates. They are my best friends and amidst competition, we still find a way to have fun.

I’ve written my fair share of cover letters and yet they can still be challenging. Why? Sure you stressed over making your resume look great to highlight your experiences, but when it comes to selling your self and creating a short narrative all you’ve got on your internal monologue is: “Ummmm, I really need this job—I’d actually be pretty great at it. I’ve already spent forever on this online application and I just really need to get this done.”

Hello friends, I know Mondays can sometimes be a source of struggle. Especially if you spent time watching Leo win his first Oscar instead of doing your homework, like myself. I wanted to leave you with some inspiration to get through the day, week, month, and maybe even college.

Employers are looking for employees that are self-driven and will continue to learn outside of the classroom. The best way to show that you’re a go-getter is to learn some new skills outside of the classroom. There are many websites and YouTube channels that offer free tutorials, but one of the best online tutorial websites, Lynda, is actually free for all USC students, faculty, and staff. Don’t let this free resource go untested try it out!
