What does Los Angles California and Venice Italy have in common? They both have canals. You can save your money and a very long plane flight by just visiting the canals right here in sunny Los Angeles, Ca.

Just blocks east of Venice Beach is a beautiful and tranquil community called Venice Canals.  The Venice Canals community is an architectural delight with a mixture of home styles ranging from Mediterranean to modern, Villas to cottages, Spanish to European. One style does not fit all. The landscaping is spectacular with a wide variety of colorful flowers, manicured lawns and lush trees.

Now, you could take a quick glimpse of the canals by vehicle, but you should park your car and stretch your legs, walking along the sidewalks and bridges and enjoying the fantastic scenery up close and personal. Don’t be surprised by the number of visitors with cell phones or cameras in hand. Every home is different and splendid in appearance.

The wildlife in the area loves to visit the canals as well. Some special water fowl including the American Coot call the canals their home, There is even a special water park for our feathered friends to swim and splash in.

You should feel a close connection to Mother Earth as your visit will inspire your inner soul with the fresh ocean breezes and green tropical paradise I call the Canals.  If you can’t visit now, set aside an evening around the holidays when festive lights abound.
